Where is the age rating when you check a game?
Hi, wanted to know where i can see the age rating when we check games in steam, i know each country have his own rating, esrb, pegi, USK, etc and they are focused in physical market but also i know IARC its commonly used for digital market, dont know if steam uses any and that´s why i am asking.

If a game uses it, it is on the right side if you scroll down a bit.
For example:

In my case it shows the USK rating.

Checked and you are true, but in some games there arent any age rating (as i could check on them). Those games big releases have age rating, so i suppose games in steam dont need to have age rating to sell in his platform, thanks for the info.

Storepages are set up by the publishers. So ask them to add the age rating to the storepage.
As i already said, IF a game uses it.

That's probably because countries don't tend to have an enforceable online law around age rating requirements.

I always find it amusing I can buy 18 rated films from Amazon with no need to prove age, but buying alcohol does require proof.

Store pages are set up by the publishers. If they don't want to put it, then the age ratings won't appear.

If you want to add them, ask publishers.

Yup precisly this.

it does depend on region too.

Ratings are self regulation. They were set up after historical egal cases to enforce themselves within the industry or otherwise the governments would do it.

So a game does NOT have to get a rating. It just however helps sales to do so.
