I can't install or update any game

Everytime i try to update or install my game it says error occurred no internet connection, i tried to flush dns, do the methods on youtube and the one from steam support, still doesnt work can anyone help me

Anyway sounds like it will be guess work.
Make at least sure windows update isn't trying to download at the same time.

1. Click stream on your top-left
2. Click setting
3. Click Downloads
4. Choose Download Region > US - Los Angeles > click OK
5. Restart your steam client.

if u have 2nd account, switch with that account, and download.
after that, switch back to ur main account, and play.
I have to do that.
problem is, cloud sync error too, so this cannot be done with 2nd account

have anyone tried contacting their Internet Service Provider just to make sure it is not on their end that is causing the problem.

have you checked your Internet Connection Settings

like

1) the ip address for ipv4 address

most people their ipv4 dns servers are always put at xxx.xxx.xx.x

then their ipv4 address which your computer, iphone, androids uses are xxx.xxx.xx.xx to xxx.xxx.xx.xxx

this ipv4 address can go up to xxx.xxx.xx.xxx, if you reduce it to from the last 3 digits to 2 digits like 255 to 10

max number of devices that can connect to your internet connection will be 9 or 10 devices in total.

p.s i tried it before myself by changing it personally myself so what i state is facts and through my own experience.

you can find such ip address easily by doing this

i) open start menu

ii) open settings

iii) open network & internet

iv) under status, on the right side, click "properties"

v) scroll down all the way and under "properties", you will see the SSID and your entire internet connection information there.

this is for those using laptop and desktop and for Windows 10.

There is nothing wrong with the IP address. If you login in to another steam account it works fine. The issue is with the steam. Devs are sleeping I think. 😂

Distance doesn't matter. I can download from UAE just as fast as I can in the US.

Just why, Why did this work of all things i have tried. Thank you so much internet stranger, now to re-download my entire library since before trying specifically the LA region I ended up reinstalling Steam.

Hours of trouble shooting trying different things and apparently just guessing the right region would have saved me all this time.
