GIF Dimensions

What's the perfect width and length that would fit the artwork showcase box nicely and fully without having black gaps on the sides of the screen? If you get what I mean. I want the width to be longer than the length but obviously without having the gif bugged and have black space on the side of the gif.
What would fill the black spaces? would it be 508x286?

Last I checked, 506x506 seems to be the right fit.

Well I mean, I wanted the width to be longer, but everytime I look for a 284x500 image, or basically any image that has a longer width than it's length is like corrupted and leaves black spaces when I feature the artwork.

Nope, just a normal gif. But I can't the right dimensions to fill the black space on the right side of the screen.

Well with the artwork showcase, you have a centerpiece and then you have a more vertical thin right piece. If you're talking about the latter, then I am at a loss.

Could always ask around in groups like this one for help. They should be able to help you out better then I can.

Well with the artwork showcase, you have a centerpiece and then you have a more vertical thin right piece. If you're talking about the latter, then I am at a loss.

hey so idk if u fixed this but i was also having this problem and just now realized that the black borders are only there if u are using the "featured" art work showcase instead of the regular one

The Featured Artwork Showcase was added a couple years after this thread was last replied to.

my display artwork is also 650x480 which i think made it fit for the featured showcase

It's okay, by the time this was necro'd I had already started and finished my military service.
