It's not that, just when you're looking in your friend list you can see them playing some games, my friend can't see me play at a game,i'm just online but i don't play any game it's strange and he can't join me, i'm only online and nothing more

Its 100% that, change your "Game Detail" setting to "friends" or "public" in your privacy settings.

This is what i was looking for, i want to keep my profil privat, but i cant invate my friends to games. I asked the Steam support and they said this shouldnt hold invites back, but it does. Looks like its not only me. How can i report bugs?

So I was trying to play cs:go with my friend and I couldn't see him playing or online but he was playing the game and both of our privacy settings are set to public please help!!!

"Game details" must be set to public.

~i have set all my settings to public but still cant see any of my friends in game, but if i try to check on the phone app i see all of them.
