My location is never right, not once. closest was 200+miles away.
I can use a VPN in a server 300 miles away and Steam shows me login for 50-100 miles away/
Check, Log out, Login and check again to see if it's even showing an accurate location. Things between you and Steam can change at any time. Just resetting your router can get a new public IP and that can alter where Steam and others servers think you are
Could be lots of things affecting it. Your modem and other things related to your ISP. Just resetting it can change the public IP and that could result in appearing from different locations.
I've just switched on my VPN, set to Manchester in UK. Steam shows me as yorkshire, websites show me as 2+ locations, 1being Manchester and another shows me as Switzerland.
With VPN off I show as being located in Glasgow, Scotland when I'm several 100 miles away.
Point is if the login appears from somewhere else log out and back in to see if Steam is registering your logins but recording them from wrong locations
I don't either, but I do check every now and then to make sure I somehow didn't pick up an API key on my account.

As long as there isn't one listed you're fine. If there is one, remove it.
If you still feel uncertain perform the steps below:

I live in Britain. On the east coast, Lincolnshire. And yet whenever I log in anywhere it will show me as in London (over 100 miles away to the South), or Manchester. Some 200 miles to the north, or a host of other places.
It really depends on how they operate.
If you're getting the correct numbers in the other data safe to say it is you.
this is the solution to the problem.
also, i'm going to recommend these
1) do not go and DISABLE STEAM GUARD
2) do not go and visit illegal and malicious 3rd party websites
3) do not go and click links given by strangers on steam platform that asks for this or that
4) do not share your steam account username and password and email address
4) kindly check and make sure the email address you used for your steam account is 100000% secure.
