Paradox account problem/error

While trying to log-in to a Paradox account to play BattleTech multi-player I found out that it looks like i already had an account and now it is deactivated because of inactivity. I'm trying to figure this out with Paradox but of course I cannot post on their forums or open a ticket because I cannot log in!

There are warnings about things to not do to try and remedy this but I tried a few things before I read that. It says to not apply anything to the bad account. I dont want to lose the dlc I got with a bundle.

Their help services always lead back to the problem that I cannot log in to open a ticket or post on forums. Keeps going around in circles.

Please help!

I cannot access their support without an account and my account is the problem.

I bought the game from Steam. I'm hoping that gets me some help here.

Your issue is with your Paradox account, so you have to talk to them. This isn't a Steam account issue, so there's nothing much anyone at Support can do. Steam does not have access to the Paradox servers.

If you can't open a ticket, you can always ask in their forums. They should have some advice.

Then create one if they can't be contacted without an account. As i said already, we can not assist you with third party servies.

We can not even assist you with Steam account related issues, that is the job of Steam Support.

edit: seems you already did, as well as their technical help subforum, now your making more threads not only here in steam help and tips, but in steam discussions...

that being said... why not just play MWO (mechwarior online) its 100% better than battletech and doesnt force the use of a third party account to play online... and the game is free.
