so the game you bought is in your library but it says you need to buy it. Are you sure the price on the store page is just for buying it as a gift? I know this problem happened before with people who bought ff games before, but they all fixed it going to steam support. As i said, steam support will help you.
Also, such an old account…so few badges. I assume this is an alt account. So maybe it’s the wrong account?
Could be slowdown due to maintenance today. Perhaps their game not showing up or their account not showing being unlocked could be eiher to maintenance today or slowdown due to xmas sale tomorrow.
That is why i asked if they bought it from steam or third party site. Also GMOD usually means Garry's mod.
i didnt see i buy gmod in purchase history but i owned it.
i dont gifted.
and i dont know what this bug and how to report.
If the game is not in the purchase history, then you didn't buy it... from the STEAM STORE, on THAT account.
If the game shows in the license list, you do own it on that account. If it's not in your purchase history, the "Acquisition Method" will be something other than "Steam Store" (even getting it for free from the Steam Store -- it will show up as "Complimentary", not "Steam Store").
Most things on Steam that require purchases actually require purchases from the Steam store, no key activations, gifts or anything of the sort. If, on the other hand, your talk about "premium accounts" actually means unlimited accounts, then just putting $5 into your wallet will suffice.

However, it is how the funds were added to the account or if the game was a game key purchased somewhere else that would matter in this situation.
