Downloading problems

I can't update or verify integrity of game files. it downloads then updating or verifies pauses the download and says "disk write error". Someone please help me)

Do you have enough space left, on the same disk where Steam is located?

(edit: I mean to put the whole game and all of its files there + the update; like a whole copy?)

Edit 2: you may also want to look at the S.M.A.R.T values of the disk you're trying to put the games on

Edit3: I am breaking my own rules. First you want to check the logs. (steam installation place \ logs)
specifically content_log.txt - You can see where exactly it errors and why.

Go to Steam/logs/content_log and open it. Scroll to the bottom of the log file, and look for a "failed to write" error, which will list the file name & path of the issue.

Anyway, you can see the list is getting very long and complicated.
Hense checking the logs for the actual information is a good idea so you can narrow down the issue.

I did it, I deleted all "appmanifest" files in "steamapps" and all ended, finally!

Sounds like you need the clear download cache, and somehow got issue with local cache.

yes i know it said you solve it , but never with what and how, other stam user had disk write issue before and there are multi solution on that issue.
