How to contact Steam?

A friend sent me a Steam gift of a game Dec 23 2021. I forgot about it. He reminded me today, Jan 22 2022, to redeem it by clicking the link. I did. It says it has been added to my library, but when I click the link the link that tries to open Steam, it fails to open in Steam and the game is not seen. There is no where I add add in a ticket.

In the steam client, click Help, Steam Support, and see if you can see it in your recent products list. If you don't, then this is where you will go to put a ticket in anyway.

I did as you said prior to be creating this thread. There is no help under Gift. And no way to place a ticket.

Yes. It is not in my library.

No, it is not on the license list.

Game gifts get automatically refunded to the gifter if they have not been accepted 30 days after being send.

Let your friend check if the game has been refunded to his account.

Ok. Thanks for the heads up. I am in infrequent gamer on Steam. Never got any gifts on the platform and did not understand the gifts have a time limit.
