no in game audio only launch screen audio works
this is with all my steam games and i dont know why its happening because the launch screen audio does work but the start menu audio and the in game audio doesnt work.

look in your sound settings >Settings>Sound and look at the details of your Audio Devices, you should find one that says "Steam Audio Device" or something similar. In this device change the output to whatever you are using for Speakers. Mine was set to my GPU HDMI and I had to change it to my Sound System Audio Output Jack ( I have a nice little Sound/Studio for my Computer).

Also if you're using Windows 10 and you might have an extra screen set up (or have had) or another audio device, it can cause this issue too.

I use a few audio bnits and pieces and it can offten throw games off.

So go to Windows settings and under audio devices check to see which devices are listed and activated. If there's more than the one you wish to use, disable them all except that one and it should fix it.
