Buy ubisoft games on Steam or Uplay?

I know if I buy it on Steam it would launch on Uplay anyway but all my games are in my steam account and any of my games are not in Uplay. What do you think? If you haven't use Uplay, would you buy 1 game there or just buy it on Steam so you can keep all of your games in your ´´main´´ game launcher and use Uplay just for play that 1 game with auto log in. I am glad for every opinion.

All games owned by " Ubisoft " bought on Steam are in Uplay.
You link your Steam account to Uplay for those games they then behave like a normal games in the library.
I love having my achievements in steam as well Uplay.
So I only buy Ubisoft games on Steam.
Wishlist there is often week end deals for wishlisted games

If i can i buy them on Steam, for the simple reason you already stated, i like to have most of my games on the same client.
But since UBISOFT no longer publishes games on Steam since April this year and only releases on UPLAY and EPIC GAME STORE now, in the future i will get interesting games on UPLAY directly.
No way i using EGS.

I buy my games on Steam. The merit of having all games in one place is rather attractive, that and sales on Steam allow for cheap games acquisition. That said, I have a couple non-Steam game son Uplay, but those are all freebies. That, and I hardly ever touch them.

I only buy my games on Steam. I like all my stuff in one spot plus I think Valve is doing mostly everything right more so than other stores. Sure some are still good like GOG and UPlay but I would rather not buy stuff everywhere.

I do like the added bonus of getting games I buy on Steam added to my UPlay account for free to.

It hasn't actually been put to the final test as my shopping list doesn't include a lot of Ubisoft stuff, BUT my intention is to get them on Steam, so everything is in the Steam library. There is no technical advantage of doing that since ultimately it ends up in UPlay anyway; think of it more like a bookkeeping thing so I can still have a chance to see all my "relevant" games in the Steam library -- because, yes, I do have an UPlay account with all those freebies already, which aren't on Steam, but those aren't all that relevant. I could decide to try AC Unity (if that's the part that was free) at some point, though.

Thats the good thing about having as many games as i do, i dont get tempted by stuff like the free games on EPIC.
I already own 99% of them anyway.

I don't use Uplay. I don't play many Ubi games, I think it's only the AC series and I play that one on the consoles.

I like to have all my games in one place. That said, I do buy games on GoG. Mostly older titles which are optimized for newer OS by GoG. Versions on Steam aren't always the same in that regard. I don't see the point in modifying a game myself when GoG already did the work and I can purchase the game at the same price point. I don't care about achievements and such, so there is no value there for me.
I do add those games as non-Steam games, just as I've added older games I have on disc as non-Steam game.

Buy it on steam that’s what I did yeah you need the uplay launcher but ehhh atleast verifying games cache and stuff is there for the game and heck your able to refund the game aswell if you get it through steam.

I still have to create Uplay account, so what do you guys think is better. Buy it on Steam or buy it on Uplay and add it as non-steam game? I don't care about Uplay points or what is that.

I prefer to use Steam when possible, for the total features it provides overall. However, I will forgo it if there is a good enough deal and add it as a non-steam game.

Figure out what you care about and act accordingly *shrugs*
