so i have been playing csgo for along time now, was hacking alot and decided to delete all hacks and start playing legit. Me and my friends downloaded some skinchangers and started playing. i have been playing on and off and some days ago i saw that i have been vaced. idk if skinchanger is the reason but my friends have not been vaced and i just found this strange. i am a toxic person and i sometimes troll but i found the "VAC" a little to harsh. i Still have my csgo rank so i dont know what to expect.

why would i even bother asking for help if i was hacking? makes no sense

there is no "facts" as valve does not disclose which specific cheats triggers vac.
so when people say yes it could be skinchanger, then they just enabling people to say that was the reason they got banned as it seems like an excuse that it was harmless, where have we seen that before? oh right, with SAM.

so people should stop enabling cheaters to come up with excuses, while comments on ones profile is never evidence to confirm someone is a cheater, the combination with his own statements about him cheating in the "past" and the fact he actually has a vac ban must indicate he is still cheating.

You don't "buy" steam accounts, they are free.

Beside the fact thats against the steam subscriber agreements.

Buying accounts is a violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
Accounts are free anyway, so is CS:GO.

there is no evidence actually showing that im hacking exept for the vac, and that isnt even proof, so the accusations of me still hacking is a waste of your time rly. thanks for the reply tho <3

Skinchanger allows you to change the skins and models, making players more visible. They way they work does cause a VAC ban and they are considered a cheat as they give players an advantage over others.

If you use a skinchanger, then I suggest playing on private, non-VAC protected servers.

Actually, the VAC ban is proof of hacking. Valve only bans for known cheats.

As I said, a skin changer is still a cheat. Cheats fall under "hacking" as hacking is a generic term used these days for cheating with the use of a 3rd party program.

Again that is false. Skin changers work by replacing the same files that would let people for instance see thru walls, or make guns clip thru objects, or make people bright colors so they are easy to see. etc. So they definitely trigger as cheats and are banned for.

There is no way for VAC to know exactly what your skin changer does, determine if it gives you an advantage, and then decide if that is ban worthy.
