Lost connection, cloud saves issues, etc
lately, i noticed that Steam will lost connection to the internet after sometimes. This leads to the cloud saves issues. Usually, when exiting a game, steam will sync the game data to the cloud, but it's not the case here. It will not sync the data as it's already losing connection, so i need to click that manual sync button, which i can't do anyway. Also, when i click on my profile, it will show "Currently Offline". One way to gain connection to the internet again, is to exit Steam and relogin. There's another way, more on that later.

I've had this before, and usually very rare, but it's getting more and more often after the last Steam update. It just happened again to me after playing Yakuza 0.

I just tested this by going AFK, with Friend List window on, it will show "Away" after a few minutes. Now here's the thing, usually, if i get back to my PC, the status will show "Online" immediately, but it isn't. This is the another way i mentioned earlier. You either need to exit Steam and relogin, or wait a few minutes for Steam to regain the internet connection.

Don't know if this is a bug or not, but i saw someone had the same issue as i am, in here.

I'm having this exact issue as well. If I step out and let my Steam status reach "Away" when I come back it remains at "Away" even if I use the Steam client.

the cloud save service detects which files is newer. Sometimes the files on the cloud get updated by the service (turned newer) and this causes the current system (client sided) files to be out dated, this causes the question to rise, do you wish to sync from cloud?

read the line carefully

From, means it will download from cloud and overwrite the existing save on your pc
To, means it will upload the save on your pc to Steam cloud and overwrite the file there.

When you disconnect your save should by default still be there. As the file on the PC is newer than the one in Cloud, likely cloud sync will resume working correctly (uploading the newer file to steam cloud).
I noticed, a connection loss in generation zero. Everytime i entered a savehouse. When entered, you update your status to the cloud.
