Account Alert
Hey guys! I have Account Alert even though I didn't do anything. How long do steam respond to my support ticket? Any Tips? I put all the information needed there.

We are just user's. We won't know.
Just wait for Steam Support to reply.

What does the alert say ? Depending on the message, there might be something you need to do while waiting on Support.

I see you said you are unaware of what the alert was caused by, apparently, but there are things that can cause an account alert where you need to take action still.
It says "This account appears to have been used for fraudulent activity." But when I click on the Contact Support and it only says "What do I do next?" there's no messages why I have it. I only got the message "Contact Steam Support for help restoring your account features." under the "What do I do next?"

You must have done something lately to trigger the alert. It's not necessarily a bad thing, as the message says "appears" to have been used.......

Sometimes, it's just a precaution they take "in case" fraudulent activity took place, and it's resolved pretty easily once you talk to Support.

As long as you did not do anything wrong, it's usually nothing to worry about.

Not sure about the "What do I do next ?" message......never seen anyone mention that here.

Feel free to post a screenshot of that if you wish, but do not have your account name in that where it is visible, if the name is there.
I've recently listed my 1 CSGO item worth around $0.05 and I listed it for $199.48 because I have a second account and I have $200 balance there. Since there' no fund transfer on steam, I did that method to transfer my funds. After that, the next day I got the Account Alert so I'm guessing that's the reason why? Right?

Here's the screenshot. I saved it on discord.

Uh oh. That sounds a lot like what happened here :

If you are trying to transfer the funds between those accounts you mentioned, that is probably it, yes.

They monitor for stuff like this. It's definitely not allowed.
I see. Do you think it's illegal to list an item way higher than the original prices? I see players also listing their items way higher than the original prices.

It's the second account I have. Do you think I can still fix this? And take this a lesson and not doing it again?
I have pending payments to pay and it's the only money I have. It takes me 1 month to gather that by doing part time Jobs. So it's a bit hard for me.

You gotta contact support. No one here has any clue what support will say. Talk to them.

If your ticket is still open to Support, they will respond.

This shows average times and load they have :

Yes, it's best to wait on Support and work with them.

As far as what others are doing listing high priced items, some might just be trying to sell them to someone crazy enough to pay that price.

And some might be trying to do the same thing that got your account alerted, and their alert is yet to come.

Not sure, but it's best to just focus on what they want you to do in your case.

I see. Thank you. I also bought an item from 1 of my friend through trade since he needed money to pay for his mother's Covid payments. After that, he sold his account to one of his friends from Vietnam and I'm guessing he reported my account for fun. I hope Steam is not one sided community. :((

Well, it's not related to your issue here, probably, but selling Steam accounts is a huge no-no.

That violates the legal agreement to even have a Steam account. But again, that's surely not related to your issue, but I can't know for sure.
