Is there a way to PM a mod?

I'm just curious, without flagging a thread, just like a way to send a private message?

Not unless you're friends with them. After all you want to PM a mod, and so do about seven hundred thousand hapless users a day. And if it was an option they'd all be doing it, and that's obviously going to be a problem, not the least your PM gets drowned out in the noise.

If you've been moderated, respond to the moderation. Otherwise there's really no need for you to do it. If something needs reporting there's already options to do that. If you need to use support there's options to do that. And if you just have a question about Steam there's plenty of resources, including users who can address most question.

I guess it'd be cool to be able to flag your own posts. Not regarding violating stema's or the forum's terms, but being a possible solution to quell the mass confusion around new releases and the lack of feedback from devs on the forums. basically, an attempt to start a conversation to create a pinned FAQ to answer the same questions in an attempt to help stop a forum flooded with the same posts..

Well that's really the developers job, they manage their communities. If the developers don't have their own mods or choose to take a hands off approach, it's probably not realistic to expect/hope that Steam mods will pick up the developer's slack in that department.

If their comments are open on their Steam profile, and the question is a serious question regarding something they would know and it's not a private issue, you can ask them there.
