My account was hijacked today and the intruders sold all my cs:go skins then bought dota items
Why does steam support not have an option where I can report that my items have been sold?
And the closest thing that indicates my items being traded without my consent tells me the following: too bad shouldn't have traded ur shid away. WTF????

You got hit with the Scam and Scram then, in a nutshell if you were signed into that site regardless by any means then that means they had your login information and easily have means to bypass your 2-Step Auth. In this case if the site itself got attacked and they got your login information from there then they 100% had access to your account and simply just traded your stuff off to their own personal accounts then cleaned history to save face. This is so common that its the main reason why gambling or trade sites in general across all of the internet for Steam related games are not supported in any form by Valve

In addition to the post above, do note when you've secured your account you WILL NOT get your items back. Account security is ALWAYS the users responsibilitiy and I'm afraid how this works is you gave your account details away on a phishing site (usually skin, inventory or gambling site) or downloaded malware.

This is no different to any other service, like bank acounts for instance.

This.
Look at it this way. If a robber breaks in to your house and steals your stuff, the police will not reimburse you for your lost items. No one will. It is up to you to get a burglar alarm and or insurance.
The reason for this is very simple - it takes man hours to investigate theft and why on earth should Valve spend money doing that when you have clearly failed to protect your account?

If a robber breaks in to your house
Unless OP has any evidence, that is not what happened.
A stranger on sth street offered to install free wifi at home. he gave him the keys. There were no break in.

And it's entrenched in law too.

It's about liability. Who is negligent.

If you have your bank card skimmed, and £100 goes from your account, then the bank will give you your money back as that was negligence on THEIR part (not protecting theitr ATM machine).

If however, you leave your wallet laying around with the PIN number in there and someone steals it and nicks the same £100, you ain't getting it back because YOU were negligent.

Well i most certainly did ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not

But the point is we can SEE your history and the scam sites you've been promoting. If you went to those that's how it works.

How do we know? THESE VERY FORUMS.

I've already explained this. But you are free to ignore it and keep making the same mistakes. Up to you. It doesn't change reality.

Skinbaron was a legit site.........the real skinbaron site that is
But bad people copy the site and then prey on gullible people who think its the real site.
Then they get hijacked and the denial part of the brain kicks in
Steam is safe and has been for a long while
You really have to try and be stupid to get hijacked............please stop trying
reread what you wrote then make sense of it

If you say you never gave your password away, then for what it’s worth, I believe you.

But then you have to look at other avenues how someone got into your account. Malware, keylogger, some other sort of thing that can steal your information on your PC and your phone somehow. Or even a friend who saw your login information over your shoulder and then later on used your phone to log into your account on their computer.

You have to have three pieces of information to get into an account. Username, password, and Steam Guard code. The chances of someone randomly guessing those three pieces of information is so astronomically low you probably have a better chance of winning the lottery twice in a row while getting struck by lightning. The Steam Guard requirement is unhackable so at some point, somewhere and somehow, someone got your username and password and your Steam Guard code to log into your account on a computer you don’t have control over.
well they bypassed steam guard and i didn't get a notification either like i usually do, And i never gave away my steam guard code that's for sure

And that doesn't matter these days, since you either have the EMail-based Steam Guard, or the Mobile Authenticator. I could tell you my account name and password, and there's NOTHING you can do with them.
Except these sites ask for that too, and people give them just that. A bot then logs in, and stays logged in. All that security cant help you if you give it away.
wtf are you talking about i never gave away my info nor my auth access

You most certainly did, without realizing it. It's called phishing. You likely went to a fake steam link, made to look like a real one, and "signed in" through that. Which, stole your details.
