Do the steps as posted in the first post. Then stop using 3rd party sites.
You can try looking for all kinds of other reasons why your account got hijacked, but that doesn't change the reality that you got phished. If you don't want to listen to other people and don't want to learn from this, then that is your choice but it is very likely to happen again then.
In the end account security is the responsibility of the account holder.
Meanwhile, on the forums:
I got scammed on Skin Baron, how do I get my skins back?
of people using and or promoting that name / site...
cant be that bad.... its not blocked out or anything like that g2XXX site
As I already pointed out, EVERYONE swears they didn't do this, but the whole point of the scam is you forget because of how it's doen and the time delays.
There is no other way to phish your details, apart from malware. So you should be assuming you DID do this and act accordingly.
If you run a scam site, you're not going to go all guns blazing scamming everyone as word gets around.
No, you leave it weeks and select a few choice people from those you have access to - the people least likely to notice.
That's the whole point.
All those numbers you quoted mean is that those people use it, and nobody's put two and two togther yet.
It's your choice:
1) follow that guide and don't repeat the same errors
or
2) ignore what people have been telling you here and get scammed again. '
The info is already given to you how to resolve this matter.
Note
- YOu will not get back any lost items EVER
- You did this by gigivng your account details away on those scam sites you've been using. Stop thinking any of them are OK. THEY ARE NOT.
- You keep ignoring this then you will continue to keep getting scammed
