Search API scam and follow the instructions
nvr mind
Before you deny it, yes, you did. You gave all three away and allowed the person access to your account.
Either through a phishing site or, less likely, through virus/malware/keylogger.
Examples of hijacking attempts
A list of common scams can be found here. < (LINK) to here :

EDIT......................................
One reason they can do this is as follows :
They remove your friends so you can't warn them so easily about the scam. Then they pretend to be you, if they have total access to your account, and engage in all kinds of scam attempts or hijacks because your friends won't know it's not you doing it.
See this about removed friends, once you are sure your account is secure :

you gave them your info before they contacted you. somewhere along the line you either visited a site, like those that give ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, or you were phished and thought you were logging in to steam.
as heeby said, there is a chance that you have a keylogger or some other virus on your comp, but those cases are rare
4. The attacker waits, this is the insidious part, because you dont know you've been compromised.
OP, see the "waits" part ? Nothing is said about how long they wait. Some might strike as soon as you give away the account details, while others might wait until you least expect it to happen and then.........
Think about it. That gives them better chances to get away with it and maybe do it to others, because you forgot all about that one site you logged into that was fake, or that one link that said "vote for our team", or any number of other methods covered on the pages that Support provides to try to help.
