if you want to report it, hit WindowsKey+F (this opens the feedback menu and also takes a screenshot)
its probably a bug due to their dumb decision to integrate chromium in the os.
I Desinstalled the update that was automatically installed in my windows.
Hope this can help someone in the future.
Could this cause blackscreens on the store/slow Steam itself (including community tabs), and black images/videos on the game pages?
I believe that this could happen in some cases. While I was searching for Chromium OS glitch I found a lot of topics talking about black screens and screen flickering. Most of those recommend to click into "Steam -> Verify updates", located in the top leftside of the screen. In most cases this used to fix the glitch.
If this didn't work there is a lot of small fixes that can happen you, at least that's what people said. In my case none of other fixes that was directly attatched to steam worked. I was forced to unistall the update that caused the white screen.
In case you need a guide to do so, here it is: https://www.dummies.com/article/technology/computers/pcs/undo-windows-update-245419
Also try to search for some random youtube videos, in my case none of those helped but our problens seens different, maybe they can fix your steam.
Wish you the best, if your problem persists I could try to help you again, even thought I am not a specialist.
