But No, you can't contact them via phone.. and even if you could it wouldn't make a difference, it's the system working as intended
The problem is, i change my password because i can't login through the website , the authenticator code pop up in my mobile , but when i put it , it said incorrect password, but i can login without problem in steam client, relogin few times in the client with no problem at all. Yeah 5 days is too long actually....
What you did was request a password reset via account recovery. Nothing can bypass this restriction.
BTW, thats the only option to change the password , go check if you don't believe me.

Only a password reset triggers a restriction. Changing it does not.
