steam games crashing since installing new GPU
I upgraded my setup from a 960 ti to a 3050 as a stepping stone while i wait on the 40 series to upgrade my system. The new card has been running everything otherwise great but has had an issue of causing the games to crash. I have had this issue with elden ring and dota 2 so far. Dota being the worst with the last game i played dota and steam shut down 4 times. I reviewed the temperature of the parts while i played and nothing went above 60 degrees Celsius. I have re installed the graphics drivers multiple times but has not seemed to have solved the issue. any help would be appreciated.
current setup is
EDIT i am using MSI afterburner to boost clock speeds +200mhz core clock & 1325mhz Memory
intel i5 8600k

you did try to completly uninstall the drivers before reinstalling or like some peoples refer it a ''clean install'' ?

Stop overclocking and see what happens.

I ll attempt both of these but i was not overclocked when it first happened with Elden ring. Though i have had friends tell me the game crashes even despite having confidence in their setups.
Yep clean driver install and stop overclocking should sort this.
Look at the logs, unless its a bsod, then look at the dmps and figure out the error.
you can also maybe get a hint in windows logs (event viewer)
