Game has "borrow" instead of "play" or "download"

I authorized both this pc and my account. What is the problem?

Only reason I can think of that you would see "borrow" instead of "play" in your library, is if you are Family Sharing the game from another account.

So it would not be in your library, hence not seeing a "play" button but "borrow" instead.

And looking through your games :

You do not own it on this account, so that seems to confirm it.

Thats the point i opened family share on the other to this but i cant download or play tje game.

Not all games can be family shared. Are you sure that one allows Family Sharing ?

I dont know why it would have borrow button if game isnt supported. My first time opening family share so i have no clue.

Yup, looks like sharing is stuck.
Can happen, happened to me too someday.
Log into the owning account & unshare. That'll set records clear.

The next step would be to log into the other account either way, to make sure all records are straight there as well. Then, you can ever proceed with the BORROW button, or log into the owning account & share again this way.

If it shows "Borrow" that means the game is installed but belongs to another user.
So Family Share between your accounts is not working currently.

Are you sure you set it up correctly?
The other account logged into your pc with their account and then activated your account for Family Share in the Steam client settings?

Both accounts are mine. I allowed my main (this account im commenting) to play other accounts game. If i start download and change to this account i get borrow button. If i stop the download and remove the game files and change to this account game does not even exist in library.

Settings - family - allow this pc for library share - checkmarked this account. Am i doing it right?

Is that the current state? Have you done any of the steps?

It was like this before i opened this thread. It is still like this. Before opening the thread i removed and checkmarked this account a few times too. Game doesnt appear at all. If i start download, stop and the login to this account i can see it but with borrow button that i can spam infinitely after receiving request sent and checkmark.

I have a laptop and a desktop. I'm not sure why you created a new account for your other pc? Why don't you just sign in to your main account on both computers? That is the only way you won't have to "borrow" the game. The only thing about this way is that you cannot play games at the same time on both computers under one account. But even if you "borrow" the game, you can't play it at the same time as the main account anyways.
