A friend lost all his moderator permissions after pinning a message in Steam forums

Clearing up the confusion on toxic moderators.

So this all started a few days back, when one of our moderators (ThunderClap) lied to everyone about the developer messaging him on Twitter. ( https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/596272953260507136/938517698474811392/unknown.png )

Basically after the word got out, everyone was super angry with Thunder and was expressing themselves in chat. Well Thunder didn't like this and got angry and started throwing out ban threats and cursing towards community members, and ultimately rage quit the community (so he is no longer a moderator). Then last night, he got his friend Androsity who was also a moderator to ban every single user who commented on the situation even though they did nothing wrong. I have since unbanned all of these users on the Discord and in the Steam discussion. ( https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/708449337784533022/938860573158957076/unknown.png )

Androsity and Thunder are no longer members or moderators on the Discord server. Thunder has left as moderator on Steam Discussion so hopefully this drama is mostly cleared up.

Anyways, I'm sorry for anyone who was affected by this and sorry that these users even had the chance to become moderators. If anybody else is affected by this, feel free to DM me on Discord; Ducxy#0638

Edit: turns out this guy can remove my moderation permissions from steam even though he has the same role as me. "

AND, the thing weird is that we know that Androsity is now the moderator (ThunderClap gave the role to him to keeps banning people for no reason), and Ducxy suddenly lost his moderator permissions after pinning this message, and the only person who could do it is Androsity, but it's impossible for a moderator to remove permissions to another moderator?
In this case, Androsity hacked...

No, not the right forum, seems like drama from a gamehub, talk to the publisher/developer from said game.

Only the developer and possibly the officer (Yellow Name) can appoint and remove moderators. Moderators can't appoint or remove moderator status.

You will have to contact the game's developer on the matter.
