Mouse stuttering when gaming FPS

I recently built a new PC, with a Corsair Harpoon (optical mouse, wired), max 6,000 DPI. With a GTX 1080, 16GB RAM and AMD Ryzen 5 3600. When I play FPS games (Battlefield, Metro, Insurgency Sandstorm, etc.), the game runs smoothly, if I run forward game runs smoothly and normal, but when I begin to move the mouse I can see mini stutters (FPS unaffected). Since I'm new to PC gaming I thought it was normal, but watching streamers and connecting a controller, I see there are no stutters. I play FPS games with 1,200 DPI, sometimes lower or higher, same issue. I have tried with a Wireless, Logitech MX Anywhere 2 and it has the same issue. I've searched for fixes and I admit I have a mouse pad I found around the house. Is there something I'm missing? I think the mouse pad can be the issue, but I want to be sure before investing in one. If it's definitely the mouse pad, which one is best for optical mice? Thanks!
