Beware of a new scam

About two days ago I was scammed, a guy on discord sent me a link where he said that there was free discord, instead it was nothing more than a scam, you will open an identical steam page where he will ask you to access and you will unlock your discord. Be careful guys, from there will come a message via email for the steam guard code, all this taking care of the smallest details. Please do not fall for it and I be infinitely ask steam to answer me. The stolen profile has the name of ygawdagioy, and I ask steam to give me back the account by making a total verification, I will give any information possible, I only want my account, I made sacrifices to have certain games, and I do not want everything to go into the hands of a dirty selfish tyrant.

This one I'm talking to is my second account, please report it and please steam to contact me.

some scammers are pretty good at making something look legit to the average person...

im pretty good at taking measures to avoid it but even i fell for one once, thankfully i recognized it immediately before they could do anything with the information i gave them.

that being said dont ever trust anything sent from someone you dont know. you fell for the most basic phishing scam,they didnt even have to try you just forked it over to some random message without a second thought.

this happens pretty commonly, that why they still do it. a better rule of thumb to follow is substitute what is being asked, if instead of your login info if he asked you to cut off your ♥♥♥♥ and fork it over would you do it without a second thought? if the answers no then dont do it....

the sad thing is that now you have been marked. that scammer may use the info you gave to get into other game accounts with, this is common with people who use the same email and password for everything. or they may add it to a list and sell it at some point spreading your info to others that will try to access game accounts on your list
