Nothing new.
Don't really need to... cause I don't fall for them
im pretty good at taking measures to avoid it but even i fell for one once, thankfully i recognized it immediately before they could do anything with the information i gave them.
that being said dont ever trust anything sent from someone you dont know. you fell for the most basic phishing scam, they didnt even have to try you just forked it over to some random message without a second thought.
this happens pretty commonly, that why they still do it. a better rule of thumb to follow is substitute what is being asked, if instead of your login info if he asked you to cut off your ♥♥♥♥ and fork it over would you do it without a second thought? if the answers no then dont do it....
the sad thing is that now you have been marked. that scammer may use the info you gave to get into other game accounts with, this is common with people who use the same email and password for everything. or they may add it to a list and sell it at some point spreading your info to others that will try to access game accounts on your list
Someone trying to make something look.
