Is x360ce (the xbox controller emulator) safe?

I Want to play xbox controller supported games on steering wheel so this program helps you but i dont want to get banned on steam i dont use the program in csgo only want to use in forza horizon 4 and other games please tell me what to do :) i am scared to get VAC Banned in csgo :)

It depends on the game. For example it's safe to use with the dark souls games. But I don't know about any other because I've only used it with these (and sekiro, but it's a single-player game).

It should be safe. x360ce is a controller emulator. (it pretends your x input is 360 controller input). It basically translates keypresses. Its much like a virtual keyboard that you can control with your mouse, or extra buttons on the mouse how those can be set to a specific key combination or whatever.)
It would be extremely odd if you'd get vacced for running that.
I'd say Discord is much more likely to cause issues due to reading memory to determine what you're running.
