Videos keeps playing in background even after closing
I have an issue where a video played on steam, like from a game's community hub, keeps playing in the background even after closing all steam windows. it's quite annoying as the sound still plays and the only way i can figure out how to stop it is by rebooting my computer

same, even after restarting my pc, the video from black dessert keeps on playing and wont stop

This thread is from 2021. It was probably a different issue back then causing this.

Having said that, many have been reporting issues with the new UI, so I can only suggest you wait and allow them time to work out the bugs in future updates to Steam.
