If you own the laptop you didn't mention whether you checked whether your anti-virus and firewall if you have one is blocking it or not. Insure they're not.
It was working fine just a day before that post. Then one update (?) and ♥♥♥♥ hit the fan.
I've also installed Sea of Thieves from Microsoft Store in the meantime. Maybe this f--ed something up. Apart from that I haven't changed anything in this PC.
is that pc even updated, its legit to even ask you this, after that rage in the thread.

then other here seem to accept your knowledge i never trust any in what they think they know.
because most of the time i have to go back and check controll all what other said , this is learn along the way ask any tech person , things can be change or buged, and that why we dont trust anything.
I got answers from support with some instructions to follow, but now I'm on holiday so I'll test them after I come back.
Normally it is possible to start a Steam game directly from the game's folder, simply by double clicking game's file.
Thats what I meant - now I can't run them with this method either.
