I think I might be facing the same issue here.
I installed the Citrix update yersterday and now all my games run at very low FPS also.
I'd be very interested if someone has a solution to this that does not require disabling App Protection, as it is required by my company policy.

Downgrading citrix from 2109 to 2108 resolved the issue.

If you use your own computer for work related stuff, ask the administration at work for provision of a home office device. Don't let them leech on your hardware.
citrix, if employed by your employer, can likely be used to track your activities (all of them) while logged in.
There are a number of third party software pieces online that integrate with the system.

(and some misunderstanding I seemed to have)
Just be careful, make sure you keep your security up to date and such with such software.
Read about spectre, meltdown (citrix vulnerabilities)
and read also about third party integration software.
Especially when operating through the tunnel, be careful with what you do. Likely your employee can track everything you do from home on their systems.
