Unable to buy bundle because I own 1 thing?
I was looking to buy the Game Develop bundle but I already own one small thing in the bundle. So it says "Your purchase could not be completed because it looks like you already own one of the games you are trying to buy"
And it refuses to go through with the purchase.

I don't care about that 1 cheap "game" I already own.
Let me buy the rest of it for the price it's at?
Or better yet, what happened to discounting the price even more if we own something already?

Publishers create the packages/bundles, choose which package/bundle they use and what the pricing is. Sound like the publisher did not actually create a tailored package.
What would happen if he were to remove the game from his library? Then he'd be able to buy the bundle, no?

There isn't currently a way of doing this.

As already said by Crazy Tiger, the developper probably missed to make a tailored bundle, you could tell them about it and hope they will fix it.

Edit:
Looks like they fixed the bundle.

Nope, because there is no removing game.

That feature is actually just "really hide this game from my library". There's some good reasons why Valve don't remove games entirely (mostly legal).

So no, you're rather stuck in this regard. Though there may be a way round (if it still works - I can't recall if it does or not).

You can always create another account, and buy it there then gift it. Though there may be delays or restrictions on that as new accounts obviously have security prohibitions these days.

Hopefully someone else will comment to corret me.

It doesn't let you gift it to someone who already has an item from the bundle.
I can't buy Little Nightmares I & II :(

It is an all or nothing bundle or a "must purchase together" bundle, with no option to purchase the bundle if you or someone else owns any part of the bundle.

For me, I can't purchase the bundle myself because I own the first game already and I can only gift it, if the other person doesn't own one of the games in the bundle.

Again, this is set up by the developer/publisher to be like that.

You can request Steam to permanently remove a game from your computer. Look in support. This action cannot be undone. It also takes a few days so you would need to be very careful about doing it. Is the bundle a limited time offer?
