My Steam support requests are permanently closed
Hello, my Steam support requests are permanently closed, although according to my friend's support request I should contact them myself, can someone tell me what the problem is?

What is exactly the issue you need to contact support with? Either they are closing the tickets for whatever reason or someone with access to your account is.

This maybe?

Did you take all the steps to secure your acount that you were told to do?

Yup, if it's as Drab points out, regarding that issue then that's why they're closing them. You CANNOT get your items back as we explained there.

If it's something else, then tell us what your issue is and what their response was before they closed it.

''Steam Support does not restore items that have left accounts for any reason, including trades, market transactions, deletions, or gifting.

It is your responsibility to secure your Steam account''

Check already recived reply, we are not support here, but either its not a steam issue or something you could have found in steam help or own game forum.

do note we have no clue whats its about, but way to many ask steam support for thing already explaned. and im sure steam support will not waste time on people request.

do know the diffrence in whats rude and not, i could say its equal rude not lookup or try find the solutions yourself.

1 billion steam user , you bet they get many ticket that has nothing to do with steam.
im not here to defend steam, but im sure many could get a feeling they dont care, maybe ask here and remove privat info . people should try that , i dont say i know or can solve it.
but other might have a clue.

you could say get other approval to contact steam support could be a good way to reduce so many ticket , but this was more if other know or can help you ,so they dont get flooded in things that user could get help with from others.

again , we are not support , we can also make mistakes , see it as help in right directions if we can call it that.

and then i said we (its all who reply to you , with diffrent view points )

Really? Because I have a hard time believing that. They certainly wouldn't say that then keep closing the ticket that just doesn't add up, so maybe you're misunderstanding. They stopped giving lost items back a few years ago after so many abused it.

Please copy the text they sent you verbatim here so we can see what they said.

The keyword being "If". As in "if the issue was due to our system". The problem is many users think it's very very plausible that the error/issue was on Steam's side. That would be very convenient. The reality it's it's much more likely and much much more common that the user has unknowingly compromised their account and traded their items away.

I mean this is really akin to a gas station saying, "If we pumped diesel into your gas tank instead of regular unleaded out of the regular unleaded nozzle, we'll pay for all the repairs."

The reality is most users with unexpected diesel in their gas tanks, upon review pumped diesel into their own tanks because they were being careless. Random fuel isn't coming out of those nozzles. And in the same token trades aren't randomly occurring and items aren't going to random accounts unbidden.

So you can hold out hope if you want, but don't hold your breath, you'll die.

You wont get anything back. The fact they are closing your tickets says it all. Your friends ticket is completely unrelated to your case. It's probably the scammer mugging you off in all honesty.
Did you get a reply before they were closed?
If not, probably someone on your account does.
