Is it possible to remove/hide achievements for a specific game from my account's stats and total achievement count?

I've looked this up for a while now, and most of the discussions seem to point towards "NO" being the answer when it comes to removing them, but I wanted to confirm again. Also wanted to look for a way to hid them from my account if possible.

I want to do this because years ago I bought those worthless ZUP games that now litter my achievement stats, and that really bothers me.

I know refunding the games will maintain their achievements in my account. I've tried Steam Achievement Manager, and although that did remove the achievements from each game, it did NOT remove them from my stats.

Is there really no way to remove the achievements from my account? If not, is there a way to hide them from my stats forever?

EDIT: With Steam Achievement Manager, I did manage to remove the achievements from my profile!

Inside Steam Achievement Manager, I simply deselected the achievements in the games that I wanted to remove. Pretty simple process

Do note that it can be a mixed bag from what I've been told.

SAM does indeed offer th efacilty to relock achievments but sometimes they don't remove from your profile.

Just a heads up.
