Controller issues on Apex Legends

Anyone else having issues with controller and paddles? I have a strikepack installed on a ps4 dualshock controller and only my a button and joysticks work, I disabled steam controller input yesterday and that seemed to work but now it doesn't work. Only game i have issues like this on is Apex Legends... If anyone has any idea what is happening here it would be great to get some feedback, i've tried just about everything!

what kind of controller is that? i mean u can just tell me if its a dualshock or some other type of controller and it will make the problem easier to solve.

its a ps4 dualshock controller

you should just use a mouse and keyboard... thats why you're on PC, right?

I use both regularly, but i still wanna know why its messing up

No, that's just silly.

Cnsider that people like to use whatever they want/ Note that games have things like written with controller support IN them.

And note that 20% of all gamers are disabled in some way and perhaps need to use controllers of some fashion.

There is no RIGHT way to do this.
