Games keep minimizing to desktop.

So I thought this on-going issue I've been having lately was only on either Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator, but it turns out that it's happening on other games I play.

Basically during the middle of a game I'm playing, the game would just minimize to my desktop and I would have to click back on it to get back on. I even tried to play without any other programs running in the background, but the same thing persists. This issue usually happens around every 20-30 minutes, which is pretty annoying.

Is there a fix to stop this from happening?

This could be related to either your screen saver settings or your power settings. Some games do not like them when there on. I suggest first seeing how long your screen saver is set to run after XXX minutes. If it is 20-30 minutes, make the number super high and see if that solves the issue.

Try the above first. If that does not work, go into power and sleep settings. Turn them off to NEVER and see if that works. I recently had my game shutting down every 30 minutes because my pc was going to sleep and i use a controller alot. If you do not use the keyboard, the pc may go to sleep in that interval of time since windows 10 sets it usually for 30 minutes.

So I disabled Windows Error Reporting Service in Services and restarted my computer. That seemed to fix it for me.
