Anything over the 2 hours / 2 weeks shouldn't attempt at the automatic refund, but you can certainly try manual.
Click on Steam Community (others won't get you to the open ended question form)
https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithCommunityContactSupport
Click on the "I need help with something not listed here." button and write the necessary details.
Good luck.
Of course they may try to help you troubleshoot any bugs first...

I tried to refund an older purchase of mine, but it looks like I can't. What can I do?
Purchases made significantly outside of the 14 day refund window are not eligible for a refund request.
You need less then 2 hours played AND purchased within the past 2 weeks.
If you've gone past 2 weeks, by a LITTLE BIT, they might do it. But since you didn't mention that you bought it 'a long time ago'....
