also yeah any game using EAC is straight up not working (Apex, New World, Halo MCC, Rust, etc)
Thats going to accelerate out of control quickly.
I mean this guy somehow thinks Steam is in charge of what EAC distributable is included with games so I'm sure they've already given their bank information to a Nigerian prince.
"lolz"
That's not Steam, my guy. That's the game individually. Got nothing to do with steam.
I have no idea what you just said. It has everything to to do with steam its packaged in the steam update. Yes easy cheat is developed by a 3rd party but the .dll is part of the steam build.
Steam doesn't make the updates. The devs push the updates through steam. I mean you obviously legitimately think that Valve is the one making the updates for these games.
Then guess what? That's an EAC issue. Guess who does't work on EAC?
*eats hat* :)
They own the IP - it's ALWAYS theres to do that. It's how things work both legally and in reality.
The devs are the ones who will do this.
But in the limited experience I have with EAC, it's super easy to suddenly break it even when it's provided with the game itself (fall guys in my case) - game updates at 2 or 3 am, while I'm playing, and literally between rounds EAC will choke.
It's definitely still on the devs of games and EAC itself to provide correct systems, but in this case I really think steam did "something" without realizing it.
