Contacted from discord about report

Someone on discord contacted me about reporting my account on accident and addressing the matter to a steam support admin. I added this dude on discord and he asked me a screenshot from my purchase history.

How can i be sure this is not a scam?

Very common scam. Report them and move on.

people can link you anything, that doesn't mean the account is theirs.

the person on discord gave you a link to a real employee. Discord is not Steam. I can contact you on discord and then give you a link to a real valve employee. that does not mean I am a valve employee.

The account you link to is a Valve Employee. The person you are talking to on Discord is not. They just linked you to a real Valve Employee.

When in doubt, do not click. Anyone can make a website to look the same as the real one to fool you into "logging in" to the fake website and give them your account credentials. Make sure the link starts exactly as steamcommunity.com or steampowered.com
