Permanently disable "Infinite Scroll"
Under 'Store Preferences' there's an option to turn infinite scroll off. I disable that feature as I do no like it.
But then every time I open the Steam client again, the option for infinite scroll is enabled again.
I've contacted support and they were not helpful.
Is there a way to permanently disable this? It's kind of frustrating.

I can't say specifically.

However, if options aren't being remembered then it can often be because you have security software or Chrome plugins that prevent this happening.

I'm not sure if this option is covered under that as it does sound more like an oversight.

Usually it means you either have no admin rights (thusly the settings don't get saved) or there is some security stopping you from saving the settings.

There isn't. The browser and client reset that specific setting whenever you get logged out.
