steam support
I did open a ticket for over than 17.5 hour, and I get no answer about refund, still I did delete the ticket and opened new one and now it is for 3 days without any respond, can anyone here explain why steam support is being irresponsible

If the ticket was open then there was no issue apart from your impatience. It is reasonable to wait 24+ especially in a sale period. Closing the ticket removed you from the line which was completely pointless.
the point of closing it is to check if the case is normal or it is just an issue in steam support
That's like being in a queue near the front and then joining the back of the line to see if it moves. There is no reason to close the ticket other than the issue being resolved prior to contact. Your ticket was only open for 17 hours in the peak of a sale period and were probably due to be answered at any time.

I did cancel the ticket, because I said maybe there was an issue about the ticket because 17.5 hours, is unnormal thing for steam

No it actually is not at all.

We're in the middle of the sale. You could easily have just asked here first. We would then have told you it would be foolish to delete your ticket as you just start at the back of the queue again.

So yeah, sales are ALWAYS massively busy, even more so duiring the weekends.

There's nothing that can be done about this.

And even so, you should expect to wait up to a few days for refunds REGARDLESS of the sale anyway.
thank you for your advice, but steam never was like that in events like sales
for all the people who are interested, steam said the refund did took long time because they believes that I'm trying games for free and doing refunds a lot, so that's explain why it takes long time for them to answer but anyway the issue did get solved, and I did get the money back

The refund warning provided has no bearing on response times.

Wrong, I'm afraid it has always been to varying degrees.

You must remember that many people commeting on this very thread have been advising on here for many years (myself about 10 on and off). We see all the data every year, and I assure it's the same every sale.

Now you may have got lucky in the past, but personal data is far too small a pool to offer any meaningful conclusion.

What do you expect? Sales by nature offer a DRASTIC increase in users who are not just using the service but buying on the store. Then, they're downloading those purchases. In other words every aspect of the Steam service is being hit hard. And of course, people will be taking punts on games that are reduced and refunding them.

You don't have to take my explanation for it, as Steam stats are pretty open. You can see clear evidence of this if you care to look.

As I said, personal data is TOO SMALL a pool.

Do you not understand that point?

Are you sure you fall under the parameters for the refund? I don't refund very often but I usually get a refund within an hour of my refund request.

Steam support will respond to you in 24h - 48h depends on tickets and how much works they have on that time. Be patient is the best way :)
