They'll never say how long responses take to not give false expectations. I'm just saying in general, with Steam Support Tickets, it does take 1-3 business days and they usually respond. I've gotten responses back in 2 business days, friends have confirmed they got it within a day or two tops.
Exactly, that’s what we’re trying to tell the OP. Him doing that basically added more to his wait time.
And now you have to wait even longer because you closed the original ticket.
3 days isn't a "very long" amount of time at all to be fair.
Closing and opening tickets doesn't magically make the wait get shorter.
No it actually is not at all.
We're in the middle of the sale. You could easily have just asked here first. We would then have told you it would be foolish to delete your ticket as you just start at the back of the queue again.
So yeah, sales are ALWAYS massively busy, even more so duiring the weekends.
There's nothing that can be done about this.
And even so, you should expect to wait up to a few days for refunds REGARDLESS of the sale anyway.
