HOW TO GET STEAM POINTS FASTER

Hello, so I want to make my profile look better, but that requires a lot of Steam Points. What is the easiest way to earn them? **NOT BY BUYING GAMES, BECAUSE ITS HEARD VERY EXPENSIVE (1$ = 100 Steam Points)

There are certain Steam groups that will trade gems for points.

There are only 2 ways to get steam points...

Buying games which you said you won't do.



And getting awards from people.... Sadly people are spamming with the hope to get awards from others. I wish Valve would stop giving steam points with awards. I also wish they would remove all the points people get because they spammed to get awards.


So there you have it, you have 2 ways, one is faster than the other and there are no other faster ways. If you don't want to buy games, all you can do is wait.

By either being extreamly lucky that people are willing to award something, like a forum post, screenshot, artwork, guide, ect.

Or by buying games.

Those are the only two ways to get points. They either take a lot of work and time or cost money.

Aside from spam/joke guides and purchasing games, maybe try creating some quality content? I get ~1000-2000 every two weeks from awards on my workshop (mostly Starbound) and guides, with the occasional bonus from my reviews and comments.
