Controller Analog (X (???) Axis) not working in game.
I have noticed this with several games I've played. My main game of choice, being Risk of Rain 2. The issue I am having is with my PS4 controller's left analog stick. It works for menus going left and right to select characters, and other highlightable items. (have never had issues with FF14.)

But as soon as I get in game with RoR2 or any other game like RoR 1, Wandersong, on this new computer, the left and right functionality of the analog becomes irresponsive. Any clues? I've sifted around google a fair bit, but couldn't find anything that helped my problem. The Forced Off mode didn't work in controller settings, tried recalibrating several times, turning off 3rd party controller settings.

This happens with any controller I use by the way if it helps. Just want to play games regularly again, any help would be appreciated!

Typically this is down to drivers. PS controllers are often the most problematic to use because Sony stuff is proprietary and so they're not as ready to work like MS controllers.

You can search for other utilities/drivers such as DS4Windows, Joy2Key or whatever.
