Skins folder no longer showing PLEASE HELP!

today, asus programs decided to destroy my computer so i did a fresh start.

got everything installed and working, however... i tried installing a steam skin by metro and when i went to the install location of steam, the skins folder was missing....

just earlier today, there was a skins folder because i was backing it up. i have reinstalled steam many times and created a skins folder and nothing works. did they recently remove that folder? is there any way i can fix this?

Yeah, you're going to need to define what you mean a bit more clearly.

What happens when you try to create folder manually?

If it doesn't create it check permissions on the drive and while you're at it, you can check your antivirus to see if that's quarantining it (I doubt it, but it's worth a check).

i've created the skins folder, plopped the skin in there as a folder, and the option still doesn't appear for me

Steam no longer supports custom skins.
