Does XP increase if you post in Forum Discussion?

Hey,I'm Atik a full time web developer but newb in steam.Need your kind opinion on how can I increase xp easily .I tried out some of the basic steps and yet at level 9 .

No, you don't gain exp for posting.

Craft badges to level. You'll also gain a little bit of exp for buying games and receiving or giving awards. Some events have a badge associated with them too.

If you want to be technical....

You CAN get exp by posting, but it requires posting thoughtful posts and having other users award you for your comments/posts.

Each time you are awarded for a post OR each time you award someone for a post, you'll get 10 xp from the Community Contributor badges (not sure if/when there's a soft cap on this where the XP per award goes down).

Since you need 17 xp for level 10, two awards will grant you level 10.

Turn one of those backgrounds you got from crafting your counterstrike badge into gems. you'll get a badge.
