how do I get rid of the account alert notification

I got a hacker so I had to change credit card but when I got on steam I found the account alert and I thought if I waited the four weeks it would go away but it hasn't

what account alert? if you did a chargeback, then you had 4 weeks to reverse it to keep the account from becoming permanently restricted. you need to contact steam support and get this sorted out

How to get rid of account alert, you click on alert, you read it so you know what it about which if it's something you need to take action you know by actually reading it, and if finish with the notification of the alert, you check the little box and close the alert, and it goes away. There is no time limit when Alert goes away.

If its an account alert for a chargeback it won't go away. If you don't resolve it then your account becomes PERMANENTLY locked

should be a delete all link where you read your nitfies

Not all support alerts can be removed.

Alerts only go away when they expire and you also have checked the box that you read and understand it. Both conditions must be met.
