I've uninistalled my copy after leaving a negative review to be updated potentially once the product is functional. But there's no possible way to get it to pass a specific point for me, and I'm also past 4 hours and 2 weeks. but I'm not going to bother with a refund, as I do want to eventually play it. I figure if they don't give a refund, just wait it out until they fix the bulk of the issues.
I have 95h hours logged with 1 crash due to alt+tabbing frequently (im guessing). I have been playing since launch. Console versions were a mess for sure. I'm on the GOG version but i doubt that makes a difference.
Yeah, its really strange with Cyberpunk. I played the game for 90 hours, got all achievements, all endings, not a SINGLE crash in all that time.
The worst bugs i had was some small graphic glitches like a NPC on the street doing the T-Pose or sinking into the ground.
I had a blast with the game overall.
But some other people i know have nothing but problems with it with similar or even stronger hardware.
Its really strange.
To make a manual ticket for a refund request:
Click on "Help" at the top left of the Steam client
Select "Steam Support"
Select "Purchases"
Select the game you want to refund from the list
Select "I have a question about this purchase"
Provide details about the issues you are having with the game, and ask for a refund.
Hope that the refund is granted since you do not meet the conditions for automatic approval of a refund.
Here is a link to the Steam Support Purchases page https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithPurchase

I wish that this section about appealing a denied refund in Steam's Knowledge Base included all of the steps for submitting a manual refund ticket.
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4873-QOSK-5126#appeal
It would be even better if it showed pictures of each step like the Knowledge Base shows for making a regular refund request https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6695-QIKM-7966
I think that Steam users shouldn't have to post in the forum to find out the steps for making a refund request when they are outside the conditions for an automatic acceptance, but still have a valid reason for requesting a refund.
It's quite common for people to have games like, say any of the Fallout Bethesda era games run flawlessly and another person has nothing but issues.
I'm not saying it's not weird, necessarily, but it is another indicator that they rushed the ♥♥♥♥ out of this.
I think there is a high chance you will get a template reply "sorry it's above 2 hours". They need to clear their tickets fast. : x
Suggestion is to just keep the game first and wait for a good PC patch or mod. CD have a good reputation in patching their games. Maybe there will be a rare in game item offered as apology.
i played ~ 40 hours, i had only 3 or 4 crashes before saving my progress, but devs fixed this "bug", all other things were great. if you have more than 2 hours, you will not get any refund,
may i ask, whats your pc specs? great Cyberpunk 2077 performance / experience = great pc specs.
talking about refund:
1. go here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithGame/?appid=1091500
2. press "It's not what I expected" -> "I'd like to request a refund"
or
1. go to https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithPurchase
2. find Cyberpunk 2077
3. press "I have a question about this purchase"
4. write your situation
Basic rule to remember - games are about FUN. End of. It's essentially the old "be honest with yourself" mantra I always bang on about.
THat being if you're wondering now about "ooh will it work properly" then do not do it. YOu would likely buy the game and either be on tenterhooks worrying about it all the time, or actually fiddling around with it, when you could have waited. This will tarnish your view of the game and you may end up never returning.
Far better for you to wait until a time when it reaches a decent condition all round and then either dive into that PS4 version, or get the PC one.
