why did u refund those games? I think it's not a method for trying out games. You always can check trailers from gameplay or just read steamcommunity forums.
The refund policy is not there to demo games. You should research games before you buy.
Trailers do not always show what games actually are and sometimes are completely misleading, and forums have loads of spoilers. I usually prefer to jump into a game blindly and of course not all of them turn to be good.
The forum regulars want you to completely spoil every game you buy by "thoroughly researching" it.
Jumping into them blindly is why you refund often and get a refund warning.
YouTube gameplay - check the system specs versus your PC before you buy.
Not turning out good means you are demoing games.
The refund policy is very clear.
Where Refunds Apply:
The Steam refund offer, within two weeks of purchase and with less than two hours of playtime, applies to games and software applications on the Steam store.
ABUSE:
Refunds are designed to remove the risk from purchasing titles on Steam—not as a way to get free games. If it appears to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you. We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price.
Did anyone say thoroughly research? No.
YouTube gameplay - check the system specs versus your PC before you buy.
And I prefer to bet big on black in a casino and than get my bet back when it turns out to be red. We're in the real world here, our choices and preferences have consequences. If you prefer to jump in blindly, accept that you'll be paying for duds. You can either make that choice now, and keep the refunds on standby for when you really need it, or you can roll the dice and let Valve decide when to go "NO REFUNDS FOR YOU! NEXT!".
It is very unclear actually.
The word Abuse is not explained, how do they now, and how do they measure what Abuse is is not explained.
The punishment is not explained either, they "stop offering" for ever, or for a period of time or what. Nobody knows.
VAC Ban system is clear. The system detects you cheating even once - you get banned forever. Easy and clear. Refund policy is not.
What else one gotta do if certain games don't have demo versions and gameplays or trailers usually aren't 100% helpful. Especially not if a game might not run properly on your system despite meeting requirements or has a very glaring issue that is not shown or mentioned anywhere.
The more games you buy the higher the chance you might bump into issues in some of them.
Refund is usually in order in said case as long as the time wasn't exceeded.
I see no abuse here.
Yes, that is abuse.
You avoided:
1) Jumping into them blindly is why you refund often and get a refund warning.
2) Not turning out good means you are demoing games.
DO YOU - YouTube gameplay - check the system specs versus your PC before you buy. Based on your post you do not.
Never had a refund warning, You have. I understand the policy. It has been around for nearly 6 years and if Valve listed every reason then you would find a way to ABUSE it.
Try these if you believe Valve is been obscure.

Games and products are eligible for refund within 14 days of purchase. However, you must have less than 2 hours of runtime on record. Products that include virtual currency, skins, or other consumables and products or games that are marked as “non-refundable” are not eligible for refund.
You will not be eligible for refunds for games or products from which you have been banned or for which you have otherwise violated the terms of service. In addition, you may not be eligible for refunds if Epic determines that you are ABUSING the refund policy.

You can make a refund request:
Within 24 hours after you first launch the game.
Within 14 days from the day you bought it, if you have not launched the game.
Within 14 days from the release date if you pre-ordered the game, if you haven't launched it yet.
Whichever comes first.
From what we have seen, and this thread is by far not the first time this has been posted here, Valve will send two warnings that you should refund and choose games more carefully in the future, clearly warning the user about the fact they are being watched.
After the second warning is ignored, and the user continues to refund, then Valve can and will remove the ability to refund games from that user permanently.
No amount of negotiating here in a user forum will do anything to change that, once that is done. No one here can do anything about it, once that happens.
PAY ATTENTION to warnings.
Permanently revoking refund rights is an option.
Abuse
If it appears to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you.
It clearly says "stop offering them to you". That means permanently.
