but i realised a slight issue with this method.
i would also see all the DLC (i.e. skin packs, additional content) i have purchased before.

Thanks for this, appreciate the reply, but i think it was my fault for not saying that I am moreso finding a way to grab all my Games to show and not my steam inventory.
These are not purchases, but the licenses you have on your account.
After you copy and paste, you can simple search for the DLC and unwanted items and remove them, if you do not want them there.
It is the most complete and plain list available.
