Depends entirely on the game.

Usualy placing a copy of the save will bring the other player's game to the same.
What do you mean by data?
Games are tied to the account it was bought on so only the saves images etc can be transfered.
If you have bought anything that adds to the game its non transferrable.

"Enter The Gungeon" uses hidden save files which makes this a bit more tricky.
To find your own save games for it on your computer, first click on the WINDOWS symbol in the lower left corner. Select CONTROL PANEL there, then FILE EXPLORER OPTIONS.
Make sure that "Show hidden files, folders and drives" is marked.

Select APPLY at the bottom.

Then go to C:\\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Dodge Roll\Enter the Gungeon

"Userprofile" is your login name for Windows in this example.
Then copy over that Enter the Gungeon folder to an USB stick or similar.
Then copy those files over to the same location on your friends PC.
You may have to repeat the steps at the top depending on your friends PC settings.

Also i would recommend making a backup copy of your friends save game folder before copying over yours, since your save games will overwrite his.
Can I upload the data from the steam cloud?

Yeah i deleted that post since you changed your first post saying that you now also see our friends save games on your own pc.
I fear what happened is when you logged into your friends PC and started the game it did load his save data automatically and then uploaded it to YOUR Steam Cloud and overwrote your own safe.
Then when you got home and started the game it downloaded that save file and overwrote your local save file also.
If that is what has happened your save game may be forever gone im afraid.

The problem is that they most likely got overwritten with the ones from your friend.
The Steam Cloud function usually uploads all save games as a single package and if the one of your friend was uploaded to YOUR steam Cloud it would have overwritten your own save game package.
So all there is in you Steam Cloud for the game are your friends save games.

This is what many around here suggest to use for saves :
