My keyboard keys are being sensitive today, how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance, I'd appreciate it if you can help.

Help with what exactly? A keyboard is a digital input device. What do you mean by "sensitive"?

Very little information, and what is there is nonsensical I'm afraid.

Reboot is correct - a digital device of mere switches CANNOT be sensitive. It's not possible as switches are either on or off.

Now do you mean something like the key repeat is happening too quickly after you leave your finger on a key?

If it is then clearly some setting will have got messed up. Go to your Windows Settings and have a nose round there. Probably under input devices.

Apologies, I meant that when I press a keyboard key once it types 2 or more letters.

I thought it must be something like that. The best advice is to do as I suggested. Probably some game has messed up the timing settings. That can happen.

I see, thanks. It's probably the game Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, what settings do you recommend I change it into?

It varies.

You're really going to have to delve into those settings and find out which one affects it by trial and error.

If the problem persists when you've closed the game, then the settings going to likely be in Windows itself. If it only manifests in game then the setting is likely to be in The Witcher.

Try anything that looks likely ONE AT A TIME.

Do you eat and drink at your PC? It might just need a cleaning (or replacing).

Yes! Of course. How could I forget this?

If you ever get repeating keys and they seem to keep going after you've stopped pressing them, this is perhaps the oldest problem in the book.

Simple trick - pick your keyboard up, turn it over and shake it hard for about 30 seconds. See what drops out and if it makes a difference.

If you hear anything clacking around in there, then it's quite likely to be the problem, but even the odd bit of biscuit crumb or crisps can cause this issue.

Dunno. The same test applies though.

Grab her and turn her upside down and shake her for about 30 seconds. I'm sure crap will fall out, but the solution is this:

If she is fine and carries on as normal, there's nothing wrong with her.
If she goes off the handle and starts hitting you, whilst shouting, then yes, she was being senstive.

All the best.
